Scaling up allows traders to gradually build larger accounts, giving them access to more capital and greater earning potential. It is an opportunity for traders to prove their consistency and get rewarded for their performance.

📌 Important:

  • The Scaling Plan applies only to Evaluation-funded accounts (1 Step, 2 Step, and 3 Step).

  • Orion Zero (Instant Funding) accounts are NOT eligible for scaling.

How Does the Scaling Plan Work?

Scaling is performance-based—meaning traders who meet specific profitability and consistency requirements will receive an increase in their account balance and a higher profit split.

🔹 Eligibility Requirements for Scaling Up:

To qualify for an account scale-up, traders must:

✔️ Achieve at least 15% profit over a rolling 3-month period.
✔️ Have at least 2 out of those 3 months end in profit.
✔️ Complete at least 3 withdrawals during that period.

If all of these conditions are met, Orion Funded will increase the account balance by 25% and boost the profit split to 90/10.

Example of Scaling Progression

Let’s say a trader starts with a $100,000 funded account. Over 3 months, they:

  • Earn a total of 15% in profit (reaching $115,000 balance).

  • Finish at least 2 of those months profitably.

  • Withdraw at least 3 times within those 3 months.

Since they met all the scaling criteria, their account balance will be increased by 25%, bringing it up to $125,000, and their profit split will increase to 90% instead of 80%.

📌 Scaling Example Over Time:

  • Starting account balance: $100,000

  • After first successful scaling cycle: $125,000

  • Next cycle (if criteria are met again): $156,250

  • This process continues until reaching a maximum of $4,000,000 in allocated capital.

What If a Trader Doesn’t Qualify for Scaling?

If a trader meets some but not all of the scaling criteria (for example, they achieve 15% profit but only have 1 profitable month or didn’t make 3 withdrawals), they will not receive a scale-up for that period.

However, scaling is reviewed every 3 months, meaning traders have a new opportunity every quarter to meet the requirements and scale their accounts.

Consistency is key—traders who maintain steady profitability and actively manage their accounts will have multiple chances to grow their capital over time.

The Scaling Plan is an excellent opportunity for disciplined and consistent traders to gradually increase their capital and earnings, proving they have what it takes to trade larger accounts responsibly.
