No Restrictions

News Trading During Evaluation Phases
During all evaluation phases (1-Step, 2-Step, 3-Step), there are no restrictions on news trading. Traders are free to open, close, or modify trades during scheduled high-impact news events.

News Trading Restrictions in Funded Accounts & Orion Zero
Once you advance to a funded account including Orion Zero, 1-Step, 2-Step, and 3-Step funded accounts the following restrictions will apply:

Restricted Trading Window
The restricted period begins 5 minutes before and ends 5 minutes after any scheduled high-impact news event. During this window, the following actions are prohibited:

  • Opening new trades (via Market Execution or Limit Orders).


  • Closing existing trades (via Market Execution, Limit Orders, Stop Loss, or Take Profit).


  • Modifying trades (such as adjusting Stop Loss or Take Profit).


  • Placing Buy Stop or Sell Stop orders.


Definition of High-Impact News
High-impact news refers to major economic or geopolitical announcements that have a significant influence on the market. These include, but are not limited to, high-impact events as listed on the Investing.com economic calendar.
